Holmrun Dobermans

Yesterday, Gary Holmes of Holmrun Dobermans, passed away after his long battle with cancer. He was 62. He and his wife Cherie have been in Dobermans for over 30 years, Gary was the one behind the scenes, while Cherie has been out campaigning her jdobes, and now is judging. My foundation bitch, Gemma, is from Holmrun Dobermans, and both Gary and Cherie have been wonderful mentors and friends to me. My heart is breaking for her. If you knew them please do not call, she is spending time with her family, but I am sure a card would be appreciated.

Thank you CarolAnn for posting this. One can only imagine what Cherie must be going through. Their contribution to our sport and the breed has been noticed. CaroleAnn has some lovely dogs as a result of her work with Gary and Cherie. I encourage everyone to take this time to go to www.Holmrun.com and look at their Dobermans. They accomplished a lot together.
