This is a picture of the winners class yesterday in Trenton. The red dog is CHA-RISH D'S RING OF FIRE. WS 19352601. 10-14-06 By Ch Cha-Rish Star Quest Blu-J'S - Cha-Rish Ebony Nite Rendezvous. Owner: Dr Anthony & Mrs Sheila DiNardo., West Hartford, CT 061172918. Breeder: Donald S Witt & Joan W Witt. (Gwen L DeMilta, Agent). He must be close to finishing as he also won a 4 point major in Timonium, MD. Congratulations to Vinnie's owners and breeders.

Elaine said it was a real battle yesterday in the AOAC class between Kelly with Contender and Gwen with Tony's dog. Today my boy came through and showed his heart out. Tina and Elaine were there to see it all happen. I'm sure there will pictures from today very soon.

Tina and Jeff have done an excellent job with Ch. Logres' Contender. I had the opportunity to keep him here at the farm for a week prior to the Springfield, MA show in March. He and I drove to Springfield and shared a hotel room. The next day we went for a run together. Contender is an unbelievable dog to be around. He is an athletic confident gentleman well deserving of his new title.

:)Thank you Arthur for your kind words. Contender is everything you said and so much more!! He is an extraordinary dog and I cannot thank you and Elaine enough for the opportunity to have him in my life;) And also a huge Thank You to Contender's handler, Kelly Marquis, who is pretty amazing herself!! Kelly is almost seven months pregnant with little baby Gabrielle:):):)and had Contender at his absolute best every second!
This weekend has been such a memorable time with so many of the "extended family" here to witness him finishing! There were 5 of the seven littermates here and most of the owners! Bob and Cheryl with Vaako(Feinbrand), E2 with Quincy(Voltaire),
E1 and Wahajama, me and Contender and Weihaiwej.(Missed you Sheila, Betty and Tracy)
Thank you all for your love and support!
We love you!!
Tina, Jeff and Contender:D:D:D

:)Well, I’m home... arrived at about 1:00 a.m.... I can still feel the rhythm in of the road. Far as I know, Tina and E2 stayed over another night (I had to get back to tend to things here). I will post a bit about the weekend on another thread... just wanted to share an impression I had moments before saying goodbye to Tina. We were at her hotel room, she and Contender were relaxing on the bed when we arrived. E2 and I popped in to say one last “Good-bye” (Q was in E2’s SUV, behind the steering wheel, barking and honking the horn at her, saying, “Hey, come on, say good bye already.” :D

Anyway, when I went to hug Tina goodbye, Contender was on the bed. While I was hugging Tina, at one point it was a three-way group hug, Tina, Contender and I. I had my head over Tina's shoulder, Contender came at my face from behind her (over her shoulder) and kissed me. I swear to god he was saying, “Goodbye mom, I will always love you... you did a good job raising me... but I have my own person now, and I love her. She and I are a team now, I am in good hands... I have a wonderful life, thanks.”

As I drove away Tina was on the sidewalk in front of her room, bare foot, stacking Contender... they are a team. I think she should show him in the breed at the National.

Thanks Brenna and don't feel too left out:) You and Tungston and Moose were in our thoughts! As soon as we found out that little Moose's littermate was there, we said "we have to get pictues for Brenna!!"
Next get together maybe you can fly over!!;)

Hugs, Tina

Here are photos of Ch. Logres' Contender... at Bucks, in the Breed ring, the day he went WD BW to finish.

In all the excitment we forgot a few details. :o Contender was sired by Ch. Trotyl De Black Shadow - out of Logres' Brentina (Brentina is a linebred daughter of BIS CH. Brunswig's Cryptonite).

Contender is owned and loved by Mrs. Tina Lee Nett and and Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Greenwood.

Here is a link to Contender's web page http://logresfarm.com/Logres'%20Contender.htm

Sorry it took me so long to add these details

Oh baystar! I spoke with him about a puppy before I got Eva. If he were closer and willing to deal with me I certainly would have. This may have been the bitch I was looking at.
