Wow!!! What a nice bitch. And...what a nice front. You should go far with this one. How far is she pointed, and when did you start showing her as in at what age?

How about her registered name and her pedigree? This was a nice mating whomever it was.

Carole Ann,

You are doing a wonderful job!!! Give yourself some credit where credit is due. :) You are not "loosing" ... we prefer to refer to is as "not winning." Think of it this way, there can only be one winner, and sometimes that isn’t even open for competition on the day, no matter what you do in the ring  The best any of us little people can do is get out there and show our dogs as best we can. But we all know that with the power and politics of the Dobe ring, that is like stepping into the lions den. :( I’m so proud of you for taking up the challenge. Far as I am concerned, anytime you return from the ring in one piece, the day has been a complete success. :D

What you need is a bunch of goof balls like E2 and I cheering you on from ringside. :D For that matter, we need to get E2 into the ring... she’s a natural. Have you seen the The Gravelle Method- How to Free Stack Your Dog in 112 Easy Steps.com http://logresfarm.com/Logres%20Voltaire.htm at about 1/4 way down the page. E2 was the originator. On a good day I can even get you her autograph. :D

Btw, did you notice the sweet face front-and-a-little-to-the-right-of-center in the background of your middle photo? That intensity and concentration is a reflection of the passion of none other than our own Sonquest!!! Which is why Tina can come away from ringside with a pretty good analysis of the dogs in competition... and I can come away with photographs of the wrong dog all together :D:o:rolleyes:

I, too, subscribe to the Gravelle Method(I have a PhD...Poorly handled Dog) that E1 mentioned, and am wondering which school you attended, since it CLEARLY isn't the same school I attended. The two of you actually look GREAT in the ring. I wanna do that someday!:p As for "losing", I prefer to call it "Supporting the entry" or consider it "a successful alternate method for discovering what didn't work" and add the experience in my "dressed in the wrong outfit, so must go buy different outfit" file!:D

Carole Ann!!! You two look great!!
I will be happy to give you lessons on handling the dog into submissive confused sitting positions with a high five included because he doesnt have a clue what you want.
If anything, the judge will never forget your dog.
Seriously he is beautiful, and, I can't believe the middle picture has our one and only Tina Girl dissecting the moment! :D

Hi All,
Thanks for all the nice comments on Bindi!! She is formally known as Gorrmae's D'Vine Dilemma, bred by Lori Gorr out of Ch Gorrmae's Absolutely D'vine and sired by Ch Trotyl de Black Shadow. We have been waiting for her to mature and I think it is finally beginning to happen!! :) Bindi is 17 mo in the pictures.

Carole Ann,
Tex is a very handsome boy and you do a great job with him!! I did not get any pictures of him cuz I was always running to get Bindi during his class except on Sat when I was "so Intent" ringside! :p;)

Anyway, sorry this has taken so long for me to reply but I have been at the hospital for the past three days welcoming grandbaby #4, "AVA" into this world!!
Pics below. AVA is the newborn! Sage is the blond! Dalaney is the little girl and Jayce is the "blackberry face"!! :D:D

Thanks Elain, E2, and Brenna, but you get very discouraged when you place 5 out of 5 both days..........not saying there was not a couple nice dogs in the ring with us but I know we were better than one or two! I am going to try again at the end of the month in W Springfield........hopefully the judges from Ireland won't realize I am not a big handler! LOL! He only needs a major to finish, and it would mean alot if I could be the one to do it!
Tina, I wish you had said hi at the shows! I didn't get a catalog, so only knew a few of the competitors there. I would have loved to visit with you!
Congrats grandma too!

Tina, Ava is beautiful!!! So are Sage, Dalaney, and Jayce! You are so lucky, I keep waiting for grandchildren but nobody is listening! Congratulations to you and Jeff... I know you are super grandparents!

Love ya,
Betty

Carole Ann I hear you. It's amazing at times isn't it? I said to E1 that I always hated the politics in corporate America and never played the game. When I retired I thought, oh, let's have some fun in the Dobe world. Well, unbelievably, the politics are blatantly worse and not much is done to mask it at times. I'm actually amazed there are as many entries as there are both in the US and Canada. :(
Yep I think E1 and I should attend your shows and make a lot of noise. We are good at that. :D

Tina Girl!!! Darn it your kids give you the most beautiful grandbabies. Congratulations to you and Jeff. I guess you will be heading to the Gap again.:D

Carlole Anne, I think you look great in the pictures. I only hope when I make my debut with Cera I do as well. ' Have to tell you that I have great admiration for you and Brenna, going out there and getting the job done. I get butterflies just thinking of it!!

Tina,

Little Ava is absolutely adorable... what a little sweetheart! Like E2 said, you have some beautiful grand kids. My only problem with this is that you and Jeff are so young and young at heart. I can hardly believe you're old enough to be a grandmother... your grand kids are so lucky to have you and Jeff in their lives. Give them all a kiss from Arthur and I.

Where are you in Upstate NY? We are in Vernon Center, which is between Utica & Syracuse. You're going to do the shows in Syracuse in November aren't you?
