Brenna already knows me, so I'm sure she'll chime in if I forget something important.

I'm the 'Carol' referred to in the memorial thread she started for Logan, who passed away some weeks ago. After reading the latest, I figured it was time to chime in myself.

I've been loved by dober's since '96, when a friends dobergirl picked me as The Human to stay w/while her 2legged mom went on tour. My 1st doberman was Lou [Darcy's Lord Lucifer Ford, CGC, NJ, prolly some others I forgot], whose presence in my life literally shaped my path from retail wage-slave working 3 jobs in GA to Firefighter/EMT who made it home to NM.

Along that path I've also been owned by dobers Nyx, Logan, and Will, and been loved by generations of their relatives & friends.

Things I've done in the pursuit of dober-happiness: Conformation, Agility, Herding, Lure-coursing & SAR. Things my dobers haven't liked yet: camping, rafting, Schutzhund, and being bored.

Thanks for letting me join your forum, and I look forward to getting to know [most of] you. Your 'be civil, be kind' statement brings to mind the Phoenix FD mission: "Prevent Harm, Survive, Be Nice".

The pix are A) Logan & Will checking out the smells on walkies, and B) Will wondering 'Who Dat?' across the street.

Carol......Welcome to DSNN.
Please know I meant absolutely no disrespect to you and your Logan. I apologize if it seemed that way. It wasn't intended to be so.

Welcome again and looking forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome, welcome! Missed you sister! Happy you joined! The folks on this site are "for real", and I think you'll fit right in! Great pics, send more when you can. What most of these readers DON'T know is that you are a phenomenal photographer that does dog show shots that are beyond belief!:cool: You have taken some of the best photos I have ever had, and clearly the most favourite ones! Elaine (E1) I believe, also shares this hobby and has remarkable shots, too. Unlike myself, who has a penchant for "blurry images with no heads or feet with a thumb in the shot IF I actually remembered to take off the lenscap" images!:p Attached are some examples.

Cheryl I will be showing Eva at the Ft. Wayne shows in Indiana. I actually took Eva to handling classes last night. It went well. She was very obedient for me.

Cheryl would you and Bob like to meet up to laugh at me????:D

So I can assume you live in that area, huh? We are South Eastern PA, Valley Forge area.
Good luck with Miss Eva at the show and make sure to let us know how she does!
