I see Missy (Cambria's Sebring) had her litter. TERRASANTA has her now?? Any photos from that litter?
Where did you see this? We'd heard from RB that JW said Polanco had sold her, but another friend - CP said that JS said it was an inaccurate rumor (so much for the accuracy of this kind of information  ). It's pretty clear where Polanco's interests lay. Wonder if Linda Krukar knew Missy was being sold when she allowed Polanco to breed to Agador. But, "Where's Missy Now" and "is she being breed til her uterus falls out so people can make a fast buck off of Reigny’s success," should be another thread.
II can not find any info on Missy. Andy, tell us what you know. :(

http://www.terrasantakennel.com/ Located in Venezuela.
I have nothing against Terrasanta. They bought a lovely bitch and probably great puppies to boot.
BUT something about selling a pregnant bitch gives me the creeps.....

I have nothing against them either... I do not know them. Who knows, they may actually make more of a commitment to Missy then Polanco did. Who knows? I would guess that Polanco realized that the market value of Missy - Agador puppies in the USA was not what he’d hoped, so his highest bidder came from South America (where they seem to be more dazzled by names and less impressed by the quality of what is produced). If you consider dogs nothing more than a crop, that was probably the best deal available. We hear that Polanco wanted to breed his Missy - Trotyl daughter back to Trotyl... and that he'll be strutting around at the National ... guess that now that he's one of the "Big Boys" we'll see him ringside making deals. That alone ought to make some people puke. And, regardless of his track record, I suspect that people will be sucked in.
Polanco is quite the saleman. Far as we know, he has never owned or finished an American Champion. Far as we know, Missy a.ka. Cambria's Sebring is not an AKC champion. We paid Kelly MArquis to try to finish her in Deland, Florida in January of 2007... at the time she had 7 points, all earned in Puerto Rica. She did not win with Kelly and far as we know, that was the last time Missy was shown at an AKC show.
Here’s a sobering thought. As we watch Mr. Polanco scramble so quickly to the top of the food chain in Dobermans, you can’t help but ask, “How the hell does a guy with his credentials get so far?” Is it possible that there are Dobermans breeders who make Polanco look good?:eek::eek: That thought would make me laugh if it weren't true. :(

Geez, this poor bitch is ALWAYS pregnant! What's up with that? And it's a shame that Agador is sucked into this. I guess we can all learn from this though.

I guess that's how you make your dog a producer -- by breeding bitches like those owned by Polanco. I turned him down for Monty a long time ago -- it wasn't hard to figure out that he was not someone I wanted to be involved with. He tried to scam me by saying that I accidentally sent him an e-mail and that there may be something wrong with my computer, and, by the way "can I breed to Meadow Monster." Of course I sent him packing, only to find out he would later breed to Monty's son "AGADOR." Very sad, exactly what is selective breeding -- is that breeding to all the bitches that ask to breed to you??

I have never had any respect for simply chasing numbers if all you’re doing is piling up misery. And now he's surfing for someone to allow him to breed his Trotyl - Missy daughter... who was whelped September 15, 2007.
We were the first to get sucked in by Polanco… in part because he is a member of the DPCA and in part because a friend of a friends said he checked out. Now of course they have back away and say, "Hey, we didn't really know the guy."
We were the first… there was no one to warn us. The answers to the questions, “Has she been bred before and if so, where are the puppies? Have any been shown?” was “No, no, no.” By the time Polanco bred to Agador the answers to those questions were, “Yes, she has been bred twice before, no champions, and at least two from the first breeding are in India, one will be bred by the time she is 14 months old and then re-sold.”
We would not have been breeder #3… can’t think of any one I respect who would have.
