I was on www.wowowow.com and noticed Liz Smith... which got me to thinking about Iris Love and the Tavern On The Green Party. On a lark I Googled Ms. Love.
Here is a video clip of an interview with Iris Love on Dachshunds. The text with the clip describes Ms Love’s clip thusly: “Famous archaeologist, historian, Guggenheim heiress, and patron saint of the dachshund world Iris Love gives her opinion on the issues of color in the breed, as well as the "mini-standard" issue. This is an out-take from an interview taken for "Wiener Takes All", a feature length documentary about the world of competitive dachshunds."
Arthur and I are not a Dachshund aficionados, nor are we acquainted with Ms Love, but we found the video well worth watching. As an aside, my memory of Ms. Love dates back to Best in Show at the Garden in 1994, the year that Robert went Best. I still vividly recall the emerald green gown Iris was wearing ringside, she was absolutely stunningly beautiful.
