We are so proud of CH Holder Park's Red Hot Cayenne latest win in Tucson. The working groups ring was particularly good at this show and we were very surprised when he was pulled out. Thank you Dr. Jones.

Lovely boy! Congratulations on finishing him in such style. What are your plans for him, are you currently showing him?

Thanks Elaine, he is a good boy. We are doing limited showing while he grows up. We want to bring him along slowly. He is also in training for the obedience ring and has his rally novice title.

I'm sure most of you have full males and understand how hard it is to do obedience or rally with them off lead. Sniffing is very important to them, then covering everything...They tell me it gets better the older they get and he is in the silly stage. I'll be happy when he gets passed it.

Cayenne is beautiful Judie. Congratulations.
I'm relieved to hear they get better as they get older. I will only try obedience and rally off lead at home right now with my guy, and he gets sidetracked fairly quickly, usually to go and visit one of the cats. :D

Elaine 2, thanks for the kind words. I've just started training with a new gal a week ago. Her ideas on attention make sense and when we trained Monday the difference was very noticeable. It certainly has given me reason to think he will be in the ring this fall for his CD novice B title. Now will he stay for long sits and downs with a cat strolling by????? OH NO!!!!!! He has held for the horses though and I didn't think he would but he has too much prey drive for cats.
