Without question over the years people have been maligned on CyberDobes. Many simply walked away in disgust, in large part because it’s futile to try to defend yourself when the one maligning you controls the discussion and your access to it. We are offering you all this thread, a chance to tell your side of things... without fear of being attacked.

"Ch Electra's The Windwalker - could he win today? A short backed, hard bodied dog with a nice head and a lazy tail. Lots of rear end which wasn't exactly his best feature...He was handled by Corky Vroom through out his career and moderately promoted (in comparison to many others) by his owner. I believe he'd be the same kind of force today as he was then....as a show dog and as a stud dog."

Above is a critique of my dog by the Birkinstock wearin' Bag'o Gas on Cyberdung.

In 40 years of "real" dog breeding, I don't think I have ever heard this term "lazy tail" used in connection with a Doberman.
I put it right up there with her critique of Dictator.
But after all she is the expert! Maybe I need to spend more time at the feet of the MASTER !

From what I've heard, you may want to avoid those feet.
I always love the “we” in the context of breeders when she's NEVER bred a litter. Actually, it makes me gag every time I read it from her.

Switching gears... in the thread on line-bred vWD clear black stud dogs (with no Lex in the first three generations), do you have any thoughts? You must have seen about every possible breeding combination over the years... seen anything recently that blows your doors off? :)

Bravo to those who have been maligned by Cheri and have finally decided to fight back and expose her for the hate-filled person she is. I can't even begin to enumerate the lies she has told--as recently as just a few days ago. For example, she states that the hearing panel was manipulated by "Sharon's friends" in the Fierro hearing in a post quoted on this forum. In fact I had never met two of the panel members, and had, years before, had an unpleasant exchange with the third. But the hate mongers didn't want to hear that--the lie was much more interesting........ and bolstered Cheri's story telling. The more she tells the story, the bigger the lies and the more outrageous. I must also add (for those who don't know) that I WON that hearing. Fierro was exonerated years later, but in fact, the hearing results were never overturned--after all was said and done, I was not found at any fault whatsoever, and Fierro was found to be guilty on many counts, and that finding still stands on the record.

How in the world did DPCA manage to give away so much power to a person who doesn't even own a dog (and hasn't in years), doesn't show and doesn't judge (in the show ring, that is)?? I had long ago given up hope that the truth would ever see the light of day on "her causes". It seems that now many folks have gotten fed up, and have begun to see her for the malignant influence she is. I am proud to count among my friends several of those she has attacked--I'm beginning to see it as a badge of honor.

Lastly, I can only say that I feel sorry for her. How unhappy she must be to want to spend so much time and effort trying and lying to drag others down.

Sharon, I think you are so right. This type of person needs our compassion.
Hurting people hurt people :(
It sure does not make them right but we do not need to perpetuate the vicious circle.

Andy, could we refrain from posts of this nature? This really doesn't add anything to the conversation. Certainly, we all have opinions re: Ms. McNealy, CyberDobes, et al., but I find this offensive.

Cathy,
While I don't condone the language, I certainly understand where it comes from. Unless you have been on the receiving end of a Cheri diatribe that has gone on for YEARS (in my case) you have no idea of the hurt, outrage and even just pure rage that is generated. People who know me know that I do not lie (my memory is not good enough) nor do I shirk taking responsibility for my actions. However, in Cheri's case, she makes things up and spouts them over and over ad infinitum until people begin to believe some of the garbage. How do you suggest one could combat that? People assume that some of it must be true no matter hou outrageous the lie if they hear it often enough. At times I was accused of such things as selling to labs, breeding (and selling) rescue Dobes and even cats. Just think of the list of the people that have been attacked. I'll keep that group among my friends any time........... Ann Lanier for one---who never did anything but good for Dobermans and Doberman people. Andy could have expressed the sentiment more articulately, but it expresses exactly how he feels.

no no no. I was wrong. I should not have allowed McNealy and friends to drive me to that foul language. I will rephrase that post when I am in a more peaceful state of mind. Although, I do think Cheri is the devil!
