Why does this class need to carry a negative connotation? I'm proud to be an owner handler...also, for dogs that are aged out of 12-18 but aren't massive enough for open might actually do well in this class...I'm just wondering what folks think? If you do win in open, and you are good enough for that venue but the dog needs a better showcase, is it only the ego that holds us back from entering this class? In the dobe ring there is often 10 or more dogs in open and am bred. Doesn't it seem like hedging your bet by entering owner handler?

I think owner handler is a great class to win from… it’s a bit like Bred by… winning from the class would be a thrill. :) Go for it!!!
