I swear I’ve approached every breeder in this country. No one will sell me a dog. Why?

Hmm? Hard to say really, let’s break this all down, first of all, are you approaching them in person? Could be your breath… a shower might help. Have you scrubbed your feet recently? (that's one for Phil :p)

I can see that you have a functional keyboard and access to the internet… but breeders look for other qualifications. Have you ever owned a dog before?

Dobe breeders are stingy.

It is hard enough when you live in this country to get a Dobe puppy, let alone when you live across oceans.

Don't give up.

Aren't there any breeders there?

Hey Andy, welcome back :) ... but I was thinking, Reni may not be looking for a Dobe. Reni may just feel comfortable chatting up Dobe people. Btw, what country is Reni from anyway? Was it Guam? :D http://dogshownewsnetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545

After seeing Reni's post, I can think of a few reasons why someone will not sell her/him? A dog. I personally do not value a dog because it will give its life for me, nor do I shut myself in where the only sounds are the television and voices in my head...is this for real? Maybe getting out even without clean feet or ambrosia-like breath might really help. Thanks for sharing the post. As for being friends, ah, I'll have to get back to you on that one....ahem.

Have to confess, I might have altered that linked post just a tad. :p The original had a lot more praise of Helsdon. And the post at the top of this thread may not be the most genuine ever posted on this forum.:o

All this silliness aside, maybe it’s just me, but sometimes I wonder if Reni is even for real. Ever get that impression? :D

But who could Reni be… Hmm? Someone who quotes that octogenarian guy who posts on CyberDobes as Da Kid, and has supported Steve Martin, Alla McGeary and Jeff Helsdon… from the West Coast? California. Hmmm?

:D

maybe I should just post Reni's IP address.

WHOO HOO..you are quite the liar!! Must be a slow day at your useless group. You have removed me from your group, so I'm not allowed to post. Not that I care one way or the other .BUT, many others know and told me, sending me copies of your ridiculous post.
Well, I guess that just proves what kind of person you really are Elaine. Ahh, how old are you ...12 ? Hahaha DUH... Get a life woman.

The post from Reni directly above is actually something that popped up in my inbox this morning. Honest.

Again, maybe it’s just me, but I’m not getting a warm fuzzy feeling from ol’ Reni here... I'm just not feeling the love… :p but I do think we’ve hit on something… it’s just possible that Reni ain’t really Reni.

Maybe we can get Jose to sell him/her/it a dog. :D

One of the interesting things about this “useless group” is that viewers come to us. We do not appear automatically in anyone’s inbox. Some of our threads have thousands of views… that’s a lot if interested “useless” viewers coming to us. Even better, I can actually post the IP addresses of the "useless group" that views us, what threads they read and how often they check in.

Wow! Reni must have friends (informants) everywhere... to be so well connected. Btw, most of us in adult life don't need to falsely represent ourselves. :)

I have been trying to come up with unique approaches to disagree with Elaine. She is persistant and unfaltering in her views. I will endeavor to persevere. Unless I agree with her in which case I will not reveal it.

Reni your approach seems to have no effect on this crazed woman.

What a polite way to say "stubborn". :D

So does that mean that if you haven't chimed in, you are in agreement?

hmmm.....either ignorant on the subject or in agreement yes.

Although being ignorant certainly hasn't ceased me from taking the opposition in the past.:D

Just a brief moment of sincerity here… but I think most of us are very fond of Andy, we love his passion and enthusiasm… (personally, I’d love to have fraction of his energy).

One of the very best things about dog people is that we love our dogs, we put the welfare of our dogs before ourselves and before any goal or self-interest. We are part of a very special community of like-minded individuals, competitive at times, but strongly connected by the love we have for these precious creatures. Andy is part of “our family.” I’d be willing to bet that any of us would bend over backwards to offer whatever we could … at any time for him.

Okay, now back to our regular scheduled programming... So, should we try to track down Jose… for Reni? He probably has something for sale that would suit Reni.

In keeping with the sincerity: isn't that part of what makes DSNN so special, such that Haters gotta come up with alter-egos in order to cast mud, aspersions, and elephant poo?

Nuff bout that, I'll put it in a new thread.

BOT, my feeling is that 'Reni' should get into AmStaffs -- sumptin tells me there wouldn't be any trouble pickin up a nice dog from almost anybody...

I just reread this post. Forgot I put the crazed part in there. It was all in jest and apologize to Elaine as I really don't question her sanity. My use of "crazed" was not used in the general/literal meaning. Driven is a better word selection. Crazy about Dobermans???? Perhaps, but not straight jacket padded cell type. Although I could use some company in here! Stop it Stewart! No Stewart, I will not type that. Some imaginary people just don't get it.

I have been questioned a lot in my life about my sanity. I can assure you I have been evaluated. Nevermind the results......

Off topic a bit....I would like to be schizophrenic for a month. You know, as long as I knew the "freinds" weren't real. Like the movie "A beautiful Mind" with Russel Crowe. Based on a true story. great movie....happy ending once he knew how to deal with it.

Sorry Elaine......move me back down on the list a bit?:D Just kiddin.

Sanity is a relative thing. There is good crazy, crazy crazy and well.....serial killer crazy. We all know one of them weither or not we realize it!

Some would say I was crazy. In fact, my training belt was custom made for me by Cardillo and it actually says, " Crazy" on it.
It is my actual nickname at work.....wonder who gave me that and I wonder what he meant by it ???? ;)

Enough with the crazy talk!
